My name is Della, today is November 1st, 2024, and I’ve decided to start writing a blog.

I have always been enamoured with the idea of being a writer. It just never seemed possible because coming up with a fictional narrative and fictional characters felt impossible. Then, I had the world’s most obvious epiphany: bloggers are writers too, and they don’t need to make anything up! So here I am, writing to you about my own life. Out of a lack of creativity, I can promise that everything will be truthful – at least as truthful as I perceived it (o˘◡˘o).

What to Expect:

I have one simple wish for this blog. I wish for it to be someplace that I can turn to in times of great emotion, times of deep pondering, and times that I know I will want to remember for good or for bad; when I need to get my thoughts in an organized place that I can look back on and see the evolution of who I am becoming. After all, it’s my 25th birthday in two weeks – my frontal lobe is almost done developing, thank God!!! I think it will be very important for me to keep a journal or diary of sorts, so I can go back and reflect as often as I need. Plus, I love oversharing on the internet! It’s my favourite pastime (◕‿◕).

I’ll see you tomorrow! I think I’ll start my talking about my favourite people (and cats) in my life – to reflect on how much I love them all and how much they mean to me.
